The Admit Card for the written test has to be downloaded from the website http://specialtest.in/fci from 14 days before the date of written test.The Test will be in two parts. Part I will consist of 60 multiple choice questions of the relevant technical discipline and Part II will consist of 60 multiple choice questions on general aptitude consisting of Reasoning, Data Analysis, Computer Awareness, General Awareness and Current Affairs. On qualifying the Written Test, the Personal Interview will be held for short-listed candidates. The Interview
letters would be uploaded on website tentatively on 20.04.2011. The weightage assigned to written test & personal interview will be in the ratio of 87.5:12.5, respectively.

after completion of Training period. They will be on probation for one year on
completion of training.
v) Candidates called for interview for posts S. No. 1 to 19 will be paid single to
and fro II AC Class Train fare by the shortest route. Candidates called for
interview for the post at S. No. 20, 25 and Secretarial Officer will be paid
single to and fro II sleeper class Railway fare by the shortest route. Out
Station SC/ST candidates called for Interview for the posts at S. No. 21 to 24
will be paid single II class Railway fare by the shortest route.
vi) Applications, typed on a plain paper, giving the name of the post applied and
complete Bio-data with Name, Date of Birth, Academic and Professional
qualifications, detailed experience with dates and positions held nature of
duties, salary drawn, address for communication, nearest railway station etc
along with the attested copies of all the relevant certificates including
SC/ST/OBC Caste Certificate/PH Certificate, if applicable, and a demand
draft for Rs.100/- (Not payable by SC/ST/PH) drawn in favour of M/s.
Hindustan Shipyard Ltd., payable at Visakhapatnam should reach the Deputy
General Manager (Personnel & Admn), Hindustan Shipyard Ltd., Gandhigram
(PO), Visakhapatnm-530 005 on or before 12-01-2011.
vii) In case of candidates applying for the posts of Management Trainees / ACS
Trainee should submit their applications as per the format given in the
Annexure – I of this notification along with attested copies of all certificates
including provisional certificate, Semester Marks lists/ consolidate marks
sheet, SC/ST/OBC/PH certificates if applicable, along with a Demand Draft
for Rs.100/- (not payable by SC/ST/PH) drawn in M/s. Hindustan Shipyard
Ltd., payable at Visakhapatnam should reach the Deputy General Manager
(Personnel & Admn), Hindustan Shipyard Ltd., Gandhigram (PO),
Visakhapatnam -530 005 on or before 12-01- 2011.
viii) The applications should be submitted in a closed cover subscribing the
post applied for in capital letters.
ix) In complete Applications without submitting the certificate copies viz., Date of
Birth, Qualifying examination provisional / marks lists, Caste Certificate, DD
and applications received after the due date will not be entertained.
