Post:
Scientist C-Non Medical (Molecular Entomology/Biotechnology)
Essential qualifications:
Ph.D. Zoology (specialization in Molecular Biology)/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology from a recognized University.
Desirable: Experience of Three years in Infectious Diseases/Molecular Entomology Research. Basic Computer Skills, strong analytical ability and data interpretation skills
Age: Up to 35 years
Scientist B- Non Medical
Essential qualifications:
M.Sc. (Zoology), Ph.D (Zoology/Entomology/Vector Biology).
Desirable: Experience in organizing Mosquito Population Surveys, various sampling techniques and Mosquito Taxonomy.
Age: Up to 35 years
Research Assistant
Essential qualifications:
Master’s degree in Zoology/Microbiology/Biotechnology (sound knowledge of Molecular Biology/ Entomology/Parasitology/Microbiology will be preferred).
Desirable: Field experience in malaria, Good computer skills and experience with using MS Office.
Age: Up to 30 years
Laboratory Technician
Essential qualifications: 10+2 in Science subject with one year DMLT from Govt. recognized institute and one year experience in recognized institute.
Desirable: Graduate in Life Sciences; Field /Lab experience in malaria/handling mosquito culture work. Knowledge of MS Office and Internet.
Age: Not exceeding 30 years.
Field Worker (Insect/Mosquito Collector)
Essential qualifications:
XII Science
Desirable : Experience in Field Surveys/Mosquito sampling and collection.
Age: Upto 30 yrs
Data Entry Operator – Gr.‘A’
Essential qualifications:
Graduate with one year certificate /diploma in computer applications from recognized institution.
Desirable: Good computer skills and experience in using MS Office; scientific data handling and statistical data analysis; experience in Administration & Accounts. Fluency in English and Hindi.
Age: Up to 28 years
The engagement in the above posts would be for the period mentioned against each post initially. But the period of their engagement may be curtailed or extended at the discretion of the competent authority. Interested and eligible candidates for posts 1, 2 & 3 may appear for a Walk-in-Interview together with copy of their complete bio-data and photocopies of the certificates/testimonials and the originals for verification before the Selection Committee on 31st January 2013 (Registration for posts 1 & 2 will be
