NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING RESEARCH INSTITUTE KOLKATA ZONAL LABORATORY

For engagement of Project Staff under sponsored project .Applications are invited on plain paper for engagement as Project Assistant on behalf of the sponsor as per following details:

Project Title:
I. Assessment of Suitable Discharge Location of Treated Effluent Disposal System of Brahmaputra Petrochemical Complex Project of M/s BCPL ( Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymers Limited) in River Brahmaputra, Dibrugarh, Assam
II. Assessment of Impact of cold water Discharge on Sea near Hazira Port, of M/s Harzira LNG Private Ltd
III. Two EIA projects expected to be awarded by March 2011

Last Date: 20 Jan


Prescribed Educational:
1. B.Tech (Civil/Environmental/Chemical Engineering)/M.Sc (Chemistry/Environmental Science/Biotechnology) with minimum 55% marks for general category and 50% for SC/ST
2. B.Sc with certificate/diploma in MS Office and sound knowledge in English language

Job Requirement:
1. Sampling, Analysis and Modeling
2. Report preparation, Record keeping, Word processing of documents

Fixed Remuneration:
1. Rs. 12,000/- p.m. (Project Assistant Level II)
2. Rs. 8,000/- p.m. (Project Assistant Level I)

Applicants are to appear for a personal interview before the Selection Committee on January 20, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at NEERI, Kolkata Zonal Laboratory, I-8, Sector C, EKDP, E M Bypass, Kolkata 700107. No TA will be admissible for appearing for the interview. No Separate interview call letter will be issued. Candidates who do not fulfill the prescribed educational qualification will not be interviewed. No interim inquiries will be entertained in this regard
