Assistant Security Officer in the Security Section
(1) Graduate with 4 years experience in supervisory cadre,
(2) Should have Military or NCC background & Fire Fighting training &
(3) Be able to ride light vehicles / motor cycle and handle fire arms + having sound health and active habits. Preference will be given to Exservicemen.

Jr. Technical Superintendent in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering
B.E./B.Tech.(Computer Science/IT) or M.C.A. with one year experience.
Desirable qualification & experience:
Two years experience (three years in the case of MCA) in administration of large scale Unix based networked computer systems. Candidates with M.E./M.Tech. in relevant field will be preferred. Other qualifications being comparable, a candidate with better experience will be given preference.

Job description: Maintenance of various computing systems in the Department of
Computer Science and Engg. This includes service such as NFS, DNS, SMTP, LDAP,
compute servers, network switches/routers, etc. as well as installation and maintenance of a few hundreds of linux based desktop machines. The work also involves managing a team of about 812 parttime M.Tech. Students who will help with System Administration
