CSIR-Institute of Minerals & Materials Technology (IMMT), Bhubaneswar desires to engage 6 Data Entry
Operators on purely temporary basis on contract for a period of 6 months under Project entitled “Building
Electronic Knowledge Based Effective Work Places” at IMMT, Bhubaneswar on coterminous basis.
The details of qualification, experience, remuneration and age limit for engagement of contractual staff
(DEO) are as under:-

Data Entry Operator
Essential Qualification:
Any first class Graduate in Computer Science (i.e. BCA, B.Sc. (IT) etc. or equivalent)*
Or
1st class Graduate (B.Sc./BA/B Com) with 1-2 years Diploma/PGDCA in Computer Science*
Or
1st class MCA/M.Sc Computer Science/M.Sc IT with knowledge of Computer Application/Office Automation* and
*Typing skills (40 WPM). (B.E/B.Tech are not eligible)
Desirable Qualification:
One year experience in working on Human Resource Management Automation Solutions
/Computer Data Entry /ERPs.
Candidates possessing MCA and having experience will be given preference.
Reservation: As regards reservation, if all things are equal, SC/ST/ OBC candidates may be given
preference over general candidates so as to ensure their representation.
Mode of Selection: Interested and eligible candidates may appear with duly filled-in downloaded
Application Form, available on www.immt.res.in, along-with latest passport size photograph, original and
attested copies of all certificates for registration at IMMT, Bhubaneswar on 24/12/2012 between 9.00 A.M.
to 10.00 A.M. Candidates will not be entertained after 10.00 A.M. under any circumstances.
After registration all eligible candidates will appear for skill test. First class qualification will be computed
based on aggregate marks i.e. 60% of the total marks. Only candidates qualifying in the skill test may be
allowed for interview. In case, sufficient number of candidates do not qualify in the skill test then the
typing speed will be relaxed up to the level of making eligible three times of the advertised posts.
The interview will be held on same day and may continue on the next day if necessary. Any sudden change
in the date of walk-in-interview, results etc. will be notified on IMMT website only. Candidates are
advised to check with the website. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for appearing in the walk-ininterview.
