With reference to advertisement No. VI/ 2012 published in ‘The Tribune’ and ‘Amar Ujala’ on 30th January, 2013, it is notified for the information of all concerned that 35 fresh posts of Medical Officer (General Wing) Class-I (Gazetted) on regular basis in the Department of Health & Family Welfare, H.P. shall also be filled up on regular basis.

Medical Officer (General Wing) Class-I (Gazetted) (on regular basis)
Qualification:
(i) Recognized Medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part-II of the third schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. The holders of educational qualification included in Part-II of the third schedule should fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
(ii) Completion of compulsory rotating internship.
Desirable :
(i) Post Graduate Degree or Diploma included in the first or second Schedule or Part-II of the third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. The holders of educational qualification included in part-II of the third schedule should fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) A post graduate qualification from a recognized institution as mentioned in Appendix-A. (iii) Knowledge of customs / manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.
The candidates who have already applied against advt. No. III/2012 (item No. III) issued on 01st Sept., 2012, need not to apply against this addendum. The cut off date for ascertaining eligibility, acquiring essential qualification(s) etc. shall be 28th February, 2013. Other terms & conditions shall remain unchanged as mentioned earlier in Advt. No. VI/2012 issued on 30th January,
2013.
