National Institute of Nutrition Walk-in Interview for The Post of Technical Assistant/ Technician/ Animal Attendant

Eligible candidates are invited to attend a WALK-IN-INTERVIEW on the following dates at 9.30 A.M. sharp for the following posts on the ad hoc research project entitled “Nutritive Value of Indian Foods – Integrated Indian Food Composition Tables” at this Institute. The essential qualification, experience, consolidated pay and service tenure are as under:


Post:
Technical Asst.
Essential Qualifications:
1st Class B.Sc (B.Z.C.) from any recognized University.

Desirable :
M. Sc. In Chemistry / Biochemistry / Zoology / Botany / Microbiology / Food Science / Food Science & Nutrition form any recognized University/ Institute with experience in analysis of nutrients in foods. Experience in handling of Fast HPLC / HPLC / ICPMS / LCMS / AAS / Kjeldahi nitrogen analyzer, microwave ashing system, microwave digestion system, muffle furnace, sat boiling distillation system will be an added advantage. Minimum one to three years working experience.

Technician
Essential Qualifications:
1st Class B.Sc. or Intermediate with diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or High School with 5 years Lab Experience.

Desirable:
2 years Experience in Clinical Laboratory and experience in blood drawing.

Animal Attendant
Essential Qualifications:
10th Class pass and knowledge in Hindi with relevant experience in Medical Lab.

Desirable:
Minimum one to three years experience in Glassware and laboratory maintenance


The candidates should bring all original certificates of educational qualification (from SSC onwards), experience, SC/ST/OBC Community Certificate / PH Certificate along with a photo and set of Photo copies duly attested for attending the Walk-in-Interview. “Candidates belongs to SC/ST/OBC category applying for the post earmarked for UNRESERVED Category will not be given age relaxation. However, the age relaxation will be provided only to the posts earmarked for SC/ST/OBC as per GOI Rules”. The persons belonging to Other Backward Category should bring the O.B.C. (Non creamy layer) Certificate issued by the respective concerned Thehsildar/ M.R.O. specifically issued for the purpose of applying for Central Government post not later than three years. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Interviews/Written Test. The Selected Candidates will be posted at the National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad; however they are required to undertake touring all over the country from time to time.
