INCOIS - Project Scientist

INCOIS, a knowledge and information technology enterprise for the oceanic realm is pursuing focused programmes in the areas of Ocean Observations, Ocean Modeling and Ocean Information & Advisory services including Tsunami Early Warning. INCOIS is currently offering the following temporary positions to bright, dynamic and motivated persons to contribute to its missions and projects on CONTRACT MODE.



Project Scientist ‘B’
Essential Qualification:
M.Sc. / M.Tech. / M.E. in Remote Sensing, GIS, Spatial Information Technology, Geo-informatics, Geomatics, Geo-spatial sciences and technologies, Geo-informatics for Natural Hazards & Disaster Risk Management or B.E. / B.Tech. in Geoinformatics or Remote Sensing & GIS or its equivalent from a recognized university/institute with at least first class (60% of marks) in the qualifying degree.

Project Scientist ‘B’
Essential Qualification:
M.Sc. / M. Tech. / M.E. in Computer Science or MCA or M.S. in Information Technology or B.E. / B.Tech. in Electronics, Communications, Computer Science, Electrical or its equivalent from a recognized university/institute with at least first class
(60% of marks) in the qualifying degree.

Project Scientist ‘B’
Essential Qualification:
M.Sc. / M.Sc. (Tech.) / M. Tech. in Geo-physics, Geodesy or its equivalent from a recognized university/institute with at least
first class (60% of marks) in the qualifying degree.

Project Scientist ‘B’
Essential Qualification:
M.Sc. / M.Tech. in Physical Oceanography / Ocean Engineering / Physics / Atmospheric Science / Meteorology / Ocean
Technology or its equivalent from a recognized university / institute with at least first class (60% of marks) in the qualifying
degree
