FCI - Asst Grade III

Food Corporation of India (hereinafter termed Corporation), one of the largest Central Public Sector Undertakings, dealing with Food grain supply chain Management, intends to recruit 12 (Twelve) meritorious sports personnel as Assistant Grade III (General/Depot) Applications are invited from Indian Nationals fulfilling the prescribed qualification, experience; age, etc. for the disciplines indicated below:



Post:
Asst Grade III

Educational Qualification:
Graduation in any discipline from recognized University, and with proficiency in use of Computers.
The Educational qualification can be relaxed in case of exceptionally outstanding sports persons

Age Limit: Between 18-27 years as on 05/07/2012.

Eligibility:
In any of the above disciplines, the person should, in the year immediately preceding his application for recruitment in the Corporation have represented
i) A University in the Inter University Tournament conducted by the Inter University Sports Board; and / or
ii) A combined University team in the National and World Universiade International competition; and / or
iii) A State in the National competition ; and / or
iv) The country in any International competition

Note:
a) Players who have represented the country in the Indian National Team or in the combined university teams in the international events shall be given preference.
b) The Certificate for representing a University in the Inter-University or a State in India in a National or for representing India in an International competition in one of the recognized Games/Sports will be valid only when signed personally by the Dean/Director or the officer overall in-charge of sports in the university or the Secretary of the State Association or the Secretary, National Federation/National Association respectively.

Selection Procedure:-
Applications received up to the prescribed date will be scrutinize by Food Corporation of India. Short listed candidates will be called for trials/ interview and verification of original documents.

How to Apply :
i) Application shall be neatly typed /filled in the prescribed format in A-4 Size paper.
ii) Attested Xerox copies of all the required documents in support of Age, qualification, sports achievement, caste etc. are to be attached with application form.
iii) Applications complete in all respects & duly signed by the applicant be placed in a sealed envelope.
iv) The envelop shall be super scribed with the words “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ASSTT. GRADE III (GENERAL/DEPOT) UNDER SPORTS QUOTA”.
v) The envelope containing the applications complete in all respects be sent by ordinary post to :- The Secretary (Zonal Sports Promotion Committee),

vi) The applications should reach at above address by 03/08/2012. For candidates belonging to J&K and NE States, last date for receipt of applications will be 10/08/2012.
vii) The applications reaching beyond the above mentioned last date will not be accepted.
viii) The Corporation will not be responsible for postal delay or delay due to any other reason.
