IGNOU - Senior Consultant

The Indira Gandhi National Open University’s (IGNOU’s) International Division (ID) aims to expand its operations for which it invites applications of interested candidates for the post of a senior consultant in its headquarters.


The job opportunity will be on a contractual basis initially for a period of at least six months. The candidate will be required to liaison with various agencies/ departments like MEA/TCIL/Indian embassies in SAARC countries and their embassies in India/ Ministries of education in SAARC countries. He/she will be required to coordinate with the resource persons, prepare tele-education schedules, undertake work related to admission, assignments, projects, term-end examination etc.

The candidate must have a good academic record with Master’s degree with at least second division preferably with experience in research work. The appointment will be initially for a period of six months and may be further renewable at a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 37, 500 per month.

Interested candidates may appear for a walk in interview on 16th November 2011 at 3:30 p.m. in room number 15, block number 14, International Division, IGNOU. However, it is necessary for the candidates to get themselves registered between 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and submit a set of attested photocopies of the certificates in support of academic qualification and experience along with a brief bio-data.

International Division of the university is responsible for enrolling international students through overseas Partner Institutions located in different countries.
