BHARAT ELECTRONICS LIMITED, India’s premier Navarathna Defence Electronics Company requires Engineer’s (BE/B.Tech) / Post Graduate’s (MCA/M.Sc) on Contract Basis temporarily for a period of ONE YEAR for itsSmartcards Division – Components SBU across KARNATAKA STATE for their project on the data collection of Census, which is implemented in all the districts of Karnataka at village level.

Tehsil Level Data Base Administrator (TDBA):
(51 Posts for the supervision of data Collection of Census Project)
Qualification :
BE / B.Tech (Computer Science, Information Science, Information Technology,
Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering,
Electronics, Telecommunication, Mechanical, Instrumentation Technology), M.C.A, M.Sc
(Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Science)
Experience:
Essential: NIL.

Desirable:
0 - 1 Year experience in maintenance of data base using MySql/MS-Sqlserver/Oracle
and effective communication skills with the government departments .

Job Description :
Planning the schedule of the data collection (digitization & photo, fingerprint capture through camp establishment at village level) in consultation with District and Tehsil administration. Supervising & executing the data collections at the established photo capture camps including the effective utilization of all the devices and manpower management. Technical interfacing between the HQ (BEL) and the implementing teams at the field (village) level. Collecting the data at village level & forwarding the data to the district HQ/BEL HQ. Generation of daily reports and analysis. Need to travel extensively to the interior parts of Tehsil & Villages for supervision at a very short notice. Ready to work in the wee hours depending on the requirement in the field.

Remuneration :
An all-inclusive consolidated remuneration of Rs. 12,000/- per month.



District level Data Base Administrator’s (DDBA):
Qualification :
BE / B.Tech (Computer Science, Information Science, Information Technology,
Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering,
Electronics, Telecommunication, Mechanical, Instrumentation Technology), M.C.A, M.Sc
(Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Science)

Desirable:
0 - 1 Year experience in maintenance of data base using My Sql/MS-Sqlserver/Oracle.
Proficiency in writing queries, data uploading in server and trouble shooting and patch file installation/implementation.

Method of Selection:
Please note that candidates fulfilling the above requirements only will be considered for walk-in-interview (Written Test and Interview) on 20.11.2011, (Sunday). Registration for walk-in-interview will be on the same day between 9.00 am to 10.00 am at BEL High School, Jalahalli Post, Bangalore – 560013 Karnataka.
