Applications are invited for following posts in Marine Department for appointment on regular basis or on contract basis:

PILOT
Qualification:
Certificate of Competency as Master (Foreign Going) issued by the Ministry of Shipping,
Government of India and one year post qualification experience as a Master/Chief Officer of a foreigngoing ship.
MARINE ENGINEER
Qualification:
Certificate of Competency as 1st Class Engineer (Motor) or (Steam and Motor) issued by the
Ministry of Shipping, Government of India. One year post qualification experience as Chief Engineer on a foreign going ship.
Age limit :
For regular appointment, upper age limit is upto 40 years, relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 3 years in case OBC candidates.
In case of contract appointments, age limit can be upto the age of 65 years.
(i) Applications may be submitted in the prescribed form (copy enclosed) and can also be forwarded by e-mail.
(ii) Persons already in service of Government/SemiGovernment Organisations/Public Sector
Undertakings/Autonomous Bodies must apply through proper channel. The concerned organisation may complete the certificate below the application.
(iii) Candidates should produce all original documents in support of essential qualifications and Caste Certificates issued by the Competent Authority including the “OBC” status as well as “exclusion from Creamy Layer” Certificate in case of OBC candidates.
Desirous candidates may walk in for interview between 1500 hours and 1600 hours on any working day upto 31.3.2013 and meet Smt. S.G.Patwardhan, Dy. Secretary, Human Resources Department, at Port
