Marine Engineer

Qualification:

MOT 1st class Motor Certificate issued under Merchant Shipping Act, 1958.1 year post qualification experience as  Chief Engineer/ 2nd Engineer on board a foreign going ship.

Pilot

Qualification:

Must hold a certificate of competency as Master of Foreign Going Ship issued by the Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India.

One year post qualification experience as Master / Chief Officer of a foreign going Ship

Age relaxation applicable as per Government rules. Candidates may contact the Secretary, Cochin Port Trust. (Ph. 0484-2666412). Candidate should report to the office of Secretary between 10.00.AM and 5.00 PM from 29-01-2013 to 16-02-2013 and should bring the original certificates & testimonials for verification and also submit the Curriculum vitae, attested copies of Certificates, NOC from the present employer, if any etc., at the time of interview. The Port  reserves the right to adopt appropriate criteria to short  - list the candidates for interview
