Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), invites applications for the post of Scientific Officer / Scientific Asst/ Technician



Post:
01.Scientific Officer `D’
Qualification:
Ph.D. in Applied Biology / Molecular Biology / Molecular Genetics / Microbiology / Cytogenetics or Life Sciences or in a related field. Minimum 2 years post doctoral relevant Laboratory experience in a Diagnostic Laboratory or a Hospital or a Research Institute will be desirable.

02.Scientific Officer `D’ (Biochemistry)
Qualification:
Ph.D. in Biochemistry OR candidates who have passed M.Sc. in Biochemistry and having Ph. D. in Molecular Biology/Molecular Genetics/Applied biology or Life Sciences or in a related field will also be considered. Minimum 2 years post doctoral relevant laboratory experience in a Diagnostic Laboratory or a Hospital or a Research Institute will be desirable.

04.Asst Medical Physicist `C’
Qualification:
M.Sc.(Physics) and Diploma in Radiological Physics conducted by BARC or equivalent.

05.Scientific Asst ‘C’ (Nuclear Medicine)
Qualification:
B.Sc. DMRIT is desirable. Candidates who have successfully completed Apprenticeship Training in PET / CT from TMC will be considered in the absence of DMRIT. At least one year experience in Nuclear Medicine is preferred. Experience in a PET/PET-CT facility will be desirable

06.Technician `C’ (ICU)
Qualification:
H.S.C.(Science) with some experience in ICU/OT as Technician / Respiratory Therapist / Dialysis Technician in a reputed institute. One year Certificate/Diploma Course in Electronics or related subjects will be desirable. Preference will be given to those who have passed one year Course in OT/ICU/Respiratory Therapist/Dialysis Technician from a reputed institute.

Guarantee Bond :
Before joining as probationer, the selected candidates will be required to give an undertaking to serve the Tata Memorial Centre for a minimum period of four years including probationary period. In the events of their resigning from the Tata Memorial Centre before the expiry of the bond period, they are liable to pay liquidated damages equivalent to one year`s gross salary paid to them during the first year of probation which could be proportionately reduced depending on the length of service rendered. The selected candidates are also required to submit a Bond duly executed by two sureties of sound financial standing, for an amount equivalent to one years gross salary.

OFFICER, TATA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, PAREL, MUMBAI-400 012 on or before 21.09.2012. No other mode of payment will be accepted. Female candidates are exempted from paying of fees while submitting application.
