BARC - Technical Officer/Engineer (M.Arch / B.Arch)

Post :
Technical Officer/Engineer ‘D’ (Group ‘A’ Gazetted Post)

Qualification :
M.Arch or B.Arch with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university.

Upper Age Limit : 40 years as on 01/01/2012

Experience :
2 years after M.Arch OR 4 years after B. Arch in Architectural planning and
design.

1. Candidates will be called for technical interview based on their academic records and experience in the relevant field. The final selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in the interview.
2. Selected candidates, on their appointment, will be governed by the New Pension Scheme.
3. Initial posting of selected candidates will be at NRB, BARC, Tarapur, Maharashtra, but they are also liable to be posted in any of the constituent units of the Department of Atomic Energy at any part of India.
4. The candidates called for interview from outstation for the above post will be paid to and fro rail fare by SECOND CLASS/SLEEPER or actual fare whichever is less.
5. Application should be accompanied by non-refundable crossed Indian Postal Order/Demand Draft for Rs.250/= ( Rupees Two hundred and Fifty only ) drawn in favour of “Pay and Accounts Officer, BARC Facilities” payable at Kalpakkam. Women candidates, SC/ST candidates and dependents of defence service personnel killed in action are exempted from paying the fee.

How to Apply:
1. Application, preferably typewritten on thick foolscap paper, should be submitted in the prescribed format given below.
2. The envelope should be superscribed as “Application for the post of TO/D (Architect) against Advt. No. 01/2012 ” .
3. PHOTOGRAPH: A recent passport size photograph should be affixed in the space provided in the application and one additional copy of the passport size photograph should be sent along with the application.
4. COPIES OF CERTIFICATES: Candidates should submit along with their application photocopies of certificates of:
(i) Educational qualifications & technical qualifications (Mark sheets & degree certificate).
(ii) Work experience.
(iii) Date of Birth (Matriculation/Secondary Examination certificates or equivalent certificate).
(iv) Proof of claim that the candidate belongs to SC/ST (applicable to SC/ST candidates only)
(v) Proof of dependence of defence service personnel killed in action (where applicable).
