One ‘Senior Research Fellow (SRF)’ and one ‘Lab Assistant’ will be recruited purely on contractual basis under the DBT funded project entitled "Identification, Cloning and Characterization of Genes Associated With Cytoplasmic Male Sterility (CMS) and Designing PCR Based Markers for Seed Purity Testing in Pearl Millet" at Division of Seed Science and Technology, IARI, New Delhi-110012.
SRF,
Essential: M.Sc. in Plant Breeding/Genetics/ Biotechnology with minimum 60%
marks / equivalent grade. NET or Equivalent qualification.
Desirable: Minimum of one-year experience in RFLP analysis of mt-DNA,
inverse PCR, cloning and sequencing. Basic knowledge in Bioinformatics tools.
Lab Assistant,
Essential: Matriculation with good academic record.
Desirable: Minimum of six months work experience.
Age Limit: Maximum age 35 years for SRF and 28 years for lab assistant (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC).
