IIT Delhi - Project Scientist/ Project Associate/ Sr. Project Asst

Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for adhoc appointment as per the details mentioned below for a maximum period of six months. The selection will be held through the DRC of Computer Science & Engineering Dept., lIT Delhi.



1.Project Scientist
Qualification:
First Class. M. Tech or equivalent in Computer Science or IT

2.Project Associate
Qualification:
First Class B. Tech or equivalent in Computer Science or IT

3.Sr. Project Assistant
Qualification:
B. Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science or IT

1. The post of Project Associate will be filled only if no suitable candidate is
available in the Project Scientist level.
2. The adhoc appointments are for a maximum period of 6 months only regardless of the
project duration.
3. In the event of large number of candidates the Selection Committee has the right to enhance the shortlisting criteria for interviews. Hence reporting for interview will give no right for interview.

The candidates who fulfill the above qualifications/experience should report for the interview. Please bring your formal application (through proper channel, if employed) along with Bic-data having complete information regarding educational qualifications indicating percentage of marks of each examination passed, details of work experience and a recent passport size photograph, along with photocopies certificates (both academic & professional) addressed to the Assistant Registrar (IRD), lIT Delhi, Hauz Khas, New Delhi - 110016 on the date of interview. The advertisement No., Title of Project and Post applied for must be mentioned on top left side of the application. No candidate, who is already employed at the Institute /IRD shall be interviewed unless his/her application has not been duly forwarded by their concerned establishment sections. 5% relaxation of marks may be granted to the SC/ST Candidates. In case of selection of a retired/superannuated government employee his/her salary will be fixed as per prevailing Institute norms.
