Applications are invited for Two (2) posts of Junior Research Fellows (JRFs) & One (1) Research Associate (RA) in the DST sponsored research project entitled “R & D Activity for INO-ICAL Resistive Plate Chamber (RPC) detectors” at the Department of Physics & Astrophysics, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007.

Qualification and Experience for JRF:
M. Sc. in Physics or B. Tech. or equivalent degree. Candidates with NET / GATE or equivalent qualifications will be preferred. The candidates appearing for their M.Sc. final in 2012 can also apply. There is possibility that good candidates might get registered for PhD at Delhi University. In addition to the minimum qualification, basic knowledge of Particle/Nuclear physics, C++ Programming language and working knowledge of LINIX will be preferred.
Qualification and Experience for RA:
Ph.D. in Physics (Preferably Nuclear and/or Particle Physics) with experience in dealing with nuclear detectors, fast electronics and working knowledge of C++, LINIX, etc.
