ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
NATIONALITY/CITIZENSHIP
A candidate must be either i) a Citizen of India or ii) a subject of Nepal or iii) subject of Bhutan or iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or v) a person of
Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. A candidate in whose
case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the Interview conducted by the Bank, but on final selection the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India, is produced.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (AS ON 01.07.2011):
i) Graduation from a recognised university/Institution with minimum 60% Marks. (For Candidates belonging to
SC/ST/PC category minimum 55% Marks). Graduation results should have been declared by the university/Institution on or before 01.07.2011.
ii) Computer literacy shall be an essential qualification, which the candidate must either possess before or acquire within six months of joining the Bank.
iii) Diploma in Banking & Finance (DBF) from Indian Institute Of Banking and Finance (IIBF) is a desirable qualification besides the above entry level qualification.
Note:
Candidates are advised to only enter percentage of marks (calculated to the nearest two decimals) obtained in the Graduation in the on-line application form. Where no percentage of mark is awarded by the University, but only CGPA/ OGPA is awarded, candidates are advised to convert the same into percentage and enter only the percentage of marks.
The fraction of percentage will be ignored and will NOT be rounded off to the next highest integer i.e. 59.99% will be treated as less than 60% and 54.99% will be treated as less than 55%.
AGE (As on 01.07.2011): Minimum: 21 Years and Maximum: 30 Years

Candidates are required to have a valid personal e-mail ID (as specified in the on-line application form while applying for Common Written Examination (CWE) for POs/MTs conducted in Sept / Nov 2011 by IBPS). It should be kept active for the
duration of this recruitment process. Under no circumstances, he/she should share/mention e-mail ID to / of any other person.

c) Applicants are required to take a print out of blank Payment Receipt Challan available as an Annexure with this notification.
d) Before applying on-line, the candidate has to remit the application fee/ postage charge as applicable to the candidate with the filled up Payment Receipt Challan in any of Indian Overseas Bank’s branches by means of cash only and
collect candidate’s copy of Payment Receipt Challan for the application fee / postage charge paid. Please ensure that the following information has been correctly entered (1) Branch Name & Code Number (2) Transaction ID (3) Date of deposit and amount

i have not done DBF but i am mba finace student m i eligible to apply please someone ans.

ReplyDeletei din't write IBPS exam for CWE, but i completed Btech in Computer Science Field. Am i eligible to apply for this job. Is it compulsary to hold CWE certificate from IBPS, or can i have time to write it after applying job ? ...plz reply me sir.
