“Metagenomic characterization and spatiotemporal changes in the prevalence of microbes involved in nutrient cycling in the rhizosphere of bioenergy crop Jatrapha curcas” ( 3 years)

Desirable:
Position is available for motivated candidate interested to work on
soil/ rhizospheric microbial systems using state of the art molecular techniques

1. Written/Trade test, Interview etc. of eligible candidates will be held at IISS, Bhopal for the above
temporary position.
2. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
3. Age limit for SRF is 35 years for Men and 40 years for women (relaxation of age in case of
SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as per Government norms).
4. The above position is purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project. Other terms &
conditions as per the guidelines for Senior Research Fellows working in the ICAR Schemes.
5. The selected candidate will have no right whatsoever for absorption/regularization in the Institute.
6. The engagement as SRF will be initially for a period of 06 months or till termination of the project
whichever is earlier. The extension will be given subject to the satisfactory performance of the work,
conduct and performance of the concerned candidate.
7. The selection of candidate(s) doesn’t entail on them any right for absorption/regularization at IISS
and/or any other sister concern including ICAR Headquarter.
8. The services of selected candidates can be dispensed with even before the termination of the project if
his/her services are no more required or his/her contribution is considered not up to the mark.
9. All eligible candidates will required to be present 30 minutes before the scheduled time and date of test
and interview for necessary formalities.
10. The applicants must bring with them their complete bio-data, original documents along with one recent
passport size photograph and brief of research work carried out during post graduation alongwith 04 sets
of photography of the same at the time of interview.
