IISER Bhopal invites applications from eligible candidates for faculty positions at various levels in Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Computer Sciences, Earth and Environmental Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences (Economics, English and Psychology), Mathematics and Physical Sciences.



Assistant Professor (on contract)
Eligibility criteria
Ph.D. with a first class or equivalent at the preceding degree and a good academic record throughout. This position will enable the candidate to teach and gain research experience.

Assistant Professor
Eligibility criteria
Ph.D. with a first class or equivalent at the preceding degree and a very good academic record throughout.
Minimum 3 years of post-doctoral experience from premier institutes.

Associate Professor
Eligibility criteria
Ph.D. with a first class at the preceding degree and a very good academic record throughout.
Minimum 6 years of teaching/research experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor.

Professor
Eligibility criteria
Ph.D. with a first class or equivalent at the preceding degree with an excellent academic record throughout.
Minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience of which at least four years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs, IISc Bangalore, IISERs or at an equivalent level in any such other Indian or foreign institution or institution of comparable standards as may be so decided by IISER Bhopal.
