COCHIN PORT TRUST - Marine Engineer/Pilot

Post:
1.Marine Engineer (Class- I)
Qualification :
MOT 1st class Motor Certificate issued under Merchant Shipping Act 1958. 1 year post qualification experience as Chief Engineer/ 2nd Engineer on board a foreign going ship.
Age Limit : 40 years Number of vacancies - 6 (Six)(1-UR, 2-SC, 1-ST, 1-OBC)

2.Pilot (Class- I)
Qualification :
Must hold a certificate of competency as Master of Foreign Going Ship issued by
the Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India or an equivalent qualification recognized
by the Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India.
One year post qualification experience as Master / Chief Officer of a foreign going Ship
Age Limit : 40 years Number of vacancies -2 (Two) ( 1-SC, 1-ST, 1-OBC )

Age relaxation applicable as per rules. Candidates presently employed should apply
through proper channel. Application enclosing bio-data, attested copies of Certificates
should reach THE SECRETARY, COCHIN PORT TRUST, COCHIN – 682009, on or
before 13-01-2012.
The candidates should submit separate applications for each post. The Port reserves
the right to adopt appropriate criteria to short list the applicants for interview.
