BHABHA ATOMIC RESEARCH CENTRE (BARC) invites application for the following
Group ‘A’ Gazetted posts as follows:



Name of the Post:
Technical Officer (E) (Civil)
Qualification: : B.E/B.Tech (Civil) with minimum 60% marks from a recognised
university.
Experience : 9 years in Design/Project Execution work in the field of civil
structures and related services after obtaining requisite
qualification.

Technical Officer (D) (Civil)
Qualification: : B.E/B.Tech (Civil) with minimum 60% marks from a recognised
university.
Experience : 4 years in Design/Project Execution work in the field of civil
structures and related services after obtaining requisite
qualification.

Medical Officer (Orthopaedic Surgeon) in the grade of
Scientific Officer/D
Qualification &
Experience
: MS/DNB in Orthopaedic Surgery from a recognised university.
Desirable : Minimum work experience of at least two years after
qualification and special interest in Spine Related Surgery for
one post in Trauma related surgery for the second post will be
desirable. Computer knowledge will be essential for managing
patients in OPD’s andOT’s

Medical Officer (Anaesthesia) in the grade of
Scientific Officer (D)
Qualification &
Experience
: M.D/DNB(Anaesthesia)
Nature of duties : Pre-anaesthetic check-ups in anaesthesia OPD, emergency duties
by rotation, delivering anaesthesia to routine and emergency
cases in various specialities labor analgesia, post-operative and
intensive care, chronic pain management, post-operative
rounds, training of DNB students and administrative work.

Medical Officer (Pathologist) in the grade of Scientific
Officer (D)
Qualification &
Experience
: MD in pathology or equivalent from a recognized university or
MBBS + P.G. diploma in pathology with 3 years experience.

Medical Officer (Nuclear Medicine) in the grade of
Scientific Officer (D)
Qualification : MD (Nuclear Medicine) or DNB (Nuclear Medicine) or MD in
Radiotherapy with DRM/DNM or MD in Radiodiagnosis with
DRM/DNM or MD in Biophysics with DRM/DNM.

Medical Officer (General Duty Medical Officer/Casualty
Medical Officer) in the grade of Scientific Officer (C)Qualification &
Experience
: MBBS with one year institutional experience. Mandatory
internship shall not be counted as experience. Candidates with
Post Graduate qualification and equivalent need not apply.

Medical Officer in the grade of Scientific Officer (C)

Experience
: MBBS with one-year institutional experience. Mandatory
internship shall not be counted as experience. Candidates with
Post Graduate qualification and equivalent need not apply.

Technical Officer(C) (Electronics)
Qualification : (BE/B.Tech in Electronics/Electronics & Tele-communication
Engg. ) with minimum 60% marks from a recognised university.
Experience :
Candidates with experience in engineering jobs in the Ladakh

Technical Officer(C) (Mechanical)
Qualification : BE/B.Tech (Mechanical Engg.) with minimum 60% marks from a
recognised university.
Experience :
Candidates with experience in engineering jobs in the Ladakh

Technical Officer(C) (Civil)
Qualification : B.E/B.Tech (Civil) with minimum 60% marks from a
recognised university.

Technical Officer(C) (Safety Officer)
Qualification : (i) B.E/M.E degree in Safety Engineering with minimum 60%
marks OR B.E(Electrical/Mechanical/Civil/Chemical) with
minimum 60% marks and Diploma in industrial safety
recognized by Central/State Governments in addition to above
qualification; (ii) Adequate knowledge of local language
(Tamil) of the place of posting.
Experience :
2 years of factory experience in Industrial Safety desirable.

Station Officer (A)
Qualification: : (i)SSC or equivalent + valid heavy vehicle driving licence +
certificate of Station Officers course of the National Fire Service
College or from CISF Fire Training Centre OR Graduate of the
Institute of Fire Engineeering, India/London.
(ii) B.E. in Fire Engineering.
