Goa Public Service Commission invites applications for the posts of Lecturers/Junior Paediatrician/ Assistant Professor

Lecturers
Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics
Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Oral Pathology and Microbiology
Qualification:
(i) A
qualification included in Part I or Part II of the Schedule to the
Dentists Act, 1948 (16 of 1948). (ii) Post-Graduate qualification in
Dentistry i.e. Master of Dental Surgery in concerned speciality/subject
from a recognized institution or equivalent. (iii) Should be registered
with Dental Council. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable :
(i) One year teaching experience after post graduation in a recognized
Institute. (ii) Three years experience as Registrar/Tutor/Senior
Resident/Demonstrator in the concerned speciality of Dentistry in a
recognized Dental Coollege/Medical College with Dental Wing/Dental
Institution. (iii) Knowledge of Marathi
Junior Paediatrician
Directorate Of Health Services
Qualification:
(i)
A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second
Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate
qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (102 of 1956)
Holders of educational qualifications included
in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions
stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the said Indian Medical
Council Act, 1956. (ii) Postgraduate degree, failing which post-graduate
diploma, in the speciality concerned. (iii) In case of Diploma holders,
work in responsible position connected with the speciality concerned
for 2 years after post-graduation Diploma. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi
Assistant Professor in Hindi in Government College of Arts & Commerce, Pernem
Directorate Of Higher Education
(i) Good
Academic record with at least 55% of marks or equivalent grade at
Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University
or an equivalent degree from a foreign University. (ii) National
Eligibility Test (NET)/State Level Eligibility Test (SET) shall remain
the compulsory requirement for appointment as Assistant Professor.
Provided, however, that candidates, who are or have been awarded Ph.D.
degree in compliance of the “University Grants Commission (minimum
standards and procedure for award of Ph.D. Degree), Regulation 2009,
shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility
condition of NET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant
Professor or equivalent positions in Colleges”. (iii) Knowledge of
Konkani. Desirable : (i) Ph.D. or M.Phil in the relevant subject. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi
Lecturer in Chemistry
Government Polytechnic, Bicholim
(i) First class Master’s Degree in appropriate branch of Humanities and Sciences. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani. Note: Appropriate branch means subjects such as Maths, Physics, Chemistry, English as the case may be.
Desirable : Knowledge of Marathi.

Government Polytechnic, Bicholim
Civil Engineering
Electronics & Communication Engineering
1st Class
Master’s Degree in appropriate branch of Engineering/ Technology or 1st
Class Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate branch of Engineering
/Technology. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani. Note: For the
above purpose “appropriate branch” means the branch in which the post is
to be filled up or such other branch where there is demonstrative
evidence of likeness of subject matter covered.
Desirable : Knowledge of Marathi
