Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the following ranges of Scientist (Fellow) under CSIR Quick Hire Scheme for deployment in projects entitled (1) “Minerals to Metals for Sustainable Planet (MINMET) [ESC0205]” & (2)“Processing of natural gemstones for aesthetic improvement and value addition (PNG) [ESC0206]”.

Qualification:
B.E./B.Tech. degree with 80% marks (8.0 CGPA) or equivalent in the areas as mentioned above with outstanding academic career
M.Tech. or equivalent Degree/ Ph.D.(Sc.), in the areas as mentioned above with uniformly outstanding
academic records and clear potential for high quality R&D work.
M.Tech. or equivalent degree with three years experience/Ph.D. (Sc.)/Ph.D. (Engg.) in the areas as mentioned above with outstanding academic records and proven ability for high quality R&D work.
M.Tech./Ph.D. or equivalent degree in the areas as mentioned above with original work as evidence by highly innovative patents or outstanding publications – evidence of leadership with minimum of 5 years R&D
experience.
M.Tech./Ph.D. or equivalent in the areas as mentioned above with 10 years of experience; Outstanding
academic career and professional work as reflected in publications, patents, involvement in major projects etc.
Mode of Selection:
Mere fulfilment of essential educational qualification and experience will not vest any right on the candidate to be called for interview/test. The Screening Committee will adopt its own criteria for short-listing the candidates based on their (applicants) entire academic career and experience. Only the short-listed candidates will be called for interview/test. Details of short-listed candidates to be called for interview, date of interview, change of date, selection result, cancellation of one or all posts, corrigendum etc. will be notified on IMMT website.
