University of Calcutta - Project Fellowships - B.Sc/M.Sc, M.A/M.Com, M.Phil/Ph.D

Applications are invited for Short Term Project Fellowships at the Institute of Foreign Policy Studies, Calcutta University.  The Fellowships are for a period of 3 months and may be extended for short term following consideration by the Academic Committee of the Institute of the requirements of the project.

Qualification:
Candidates must possess a good MA/MSc or equivalent (Standard Fellowship) and PhD (Senior Fellowship).  Degrees from a recognized university or institution of higher learning, and preferably in Social Sciences  or Humanities.  Candidates with research experience will be preferred.


Candidates must submit a plain paper application, addressed to the Director of the Institute and submit a proposal for research.  Preferred areas for Fellowships are (a) international relations in East/South East Asia (b) the internal affairs/foreign policy of India’s neighbours (c) theories of international relations as they may be applied to the developing world.
