A walk-in interview will be held on 03 January (Thursday), 2013, from 10.00 am onwards in the Room No. 264, Department of English and Foreign Languages Tezpur University for the following purely temporary positions in the DIT sponsored project ‘Indian Languages Corpora Initiative (Phase-2)’.

Sr. Linguist
Qualifications:
1. M.Phil. or equivalent in Language / Linguistics/Language Technology.
2. Experience in Language Technology
Jr. Linguist
Qualifications:
1. M.A. or equivalent in Language/ Linguistics / Language Technology.
2. Experience in Language Technology
Sr. Technical Assistant
Qualifications:
1. Bachelors degree with diploma in Computers.
2. Knowledge of language technology, experience in office applications and procedures.
Language Editor
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree.
2. Knowledge of data entry in Unicode.
The selected candidates will be appointed on purely temporary basis for the period of six months which may be extended for further period depending upon requirement of the Project.
