Project Title : “Development of bis-benzimidazoles as antibacterial agent: Biological evaluation of a series of bis-benzimidazoles on E.coli and human topo I and II and elucidation of mechanism of interaction ” sponsored by (CSIR no. 02(0079)/12/EMR-II, 30/10/2012).

Eligibility : 

This project involves chemistry and biology work both. A candidate having one to two years research experiences in organic synthetic methodology, coupling reaction and stereoselective synthesis will be preferred. The student with biology background should have an experience in protein expression, purification, cloning, DNA isolation, agarose gel running, SDS gel running, PCR, DNA sequencing, western blotting, confoccal microscopy, spectrosocopy , florescence microscopy.

Period : Three year, extended till the operation of project
