M.Sc./ M.Tech in any branch of Natural Sciences (except biological sciences) and CSIR/UGC NET(LS) qualification.
Desirable : Ocean going experience. Knowledge of computer software like MS Office and Excel. Should have aptitude to carry out independent research. Holder of a valid passport. Acquaintance and capability to operate the analytical equipments and other laboratory works.

M.Sc / M.Tech. in Geology / Applied Geology / Marine geology / Marine science (specialization in Marine geology / petrology / geochemistry) and CSIR/UGC NET(LS) qualification.
Desirable : Ocean going experience. Knowledge of computer software like MS Office and Excel. Should have aptitude to carry out independent research. To have a valid Passport. Acquaintance and capability to operate the analytical equipments and other laboratory works. Knowledge of thin section making.

M.Sc. Oceanography / Physical Oceanography / Marine Sciences (Physical Oceanography specialization) and CSIR/UGC NET(LS) qualification.
Desirable : Ocean going experience. Knowledge of computer software like MS Office and Excel. Should have aptitude to carry out independent research. To have a valid Passport. Acquaintance and capability to operate the analytical equipments and other laboratory works.
Candidates satisfying requirements may attend the walk-in-interview on 12/12/2012 at NIO Dona Paula , Goa-403004 along with their bio-data, attested copies of certificates & mark lists in proof of qualification (SSC onwards), age, experience and testimonials. Candidates should bring a photo identity proof at the time of registration
