Applications are invited from Indian nationals only for project positions of Fellow A/B/C or JRF/SRF as per the details given below for the consultancy/research projects, running under the Head, AHEC, Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee and appear for the interview on Dec. 13, 2012 at 11.00 a.m. in AHEC.

Qualification:
B.E./B.Tech. with two years experience, M.Sc. with 3 years experience or M.E./M.Tech. or
equivalent degree, with good academic record and proven ability for high quality R & D
work. (Age limit 40 years)
Fellow 'B'
Qualification:
M.E./M.Tech. or equivalent degree with three years R&D experience/Ph.D.(Sc)/Ph.D.(Engg.)
with original research publications in referred journals or B.Tech. with 5 years experience.
(Age limit 45 years)
Fellow 'C'
Qualification:
M.E./M.Tech. or equivalent degree with five years R&D experience/Ph.D.(Sc)/Ph.D.(Engg.)
with two years R&D experience in respective disciplines and with original research work as
evidenced by good quality research publications in referred journals or B.Tech. with 8 years
experience. (Age limit 50 years)
Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) Engg
Qualification:
B.E./B.Tech. with 2 years experience
OR
M.E./M.Tech. or equivalent degree in Engg.
(Age Limit 32 years)
Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)
Qualification:
B.E./B.Tech. I class (Age Limit 28 years)
1. The person once appointed is expected to undertake extensive travel to the field (including hills) and remote areas for
small hydro projects sites and their command area for field work and prepare project reports.
2. Persons employed should submit their application through proper channel and at the time of interview they should
produce no objection certificate from the employers.
3. Preference will be given to SC/ST candidates on equal qualifications and experience.
4. Candidates before appearing for the interview shall ensure that they are eligible for the position they intend to apply.
5. The candidates possessing relevant qualification for the post mentioned at Sl. No. 1 to 8 should apply.
Candidates desiring to appear for the Interview should submit/produce the following materials at the time of Interview along with attested copies of marks sheets/certificates/testimonials and a demand draft drawn on the State Bank of India, IIT, Roorkee Branch (code no. 1069) or on the Punjab National Bank, IIT, Roorkee Branch (code no. 4044) for Rs. 100/- in favour of Dean (SRIC), Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Roorkee should also be attached with the application.
