citizens for filling temporary research positions of CSIR – Diamond Jubilee
Research Interns at CSIR-Central Electrochemical Research Institute, Karaikudi.

Educational
Qualification : First Class or
equivalent GPA in M.Sc in Chemistry / Physics
Maximum Age limit as on 04.12.2012 : 25 years.
Relaxable upto 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC, Women and
Physically Challenged.
Tenure : 2 years, from the date of joining and not extendable
under any circumstances. Performance
will be reviewed every six months. In
case, the performance is not satisfactory, the internship will be terminated.
Terms
and Conditions : The Intern shall have
no claim for further extension, absorption or regularization in CECRI / CSIR
after the expiry / termination of Internship.
During the Internship period, the Interns would be free to appear for
NET / GATE and secure regular fellowship for doing Ph.D.
Mode of Selection
Selection will be made on the basis of candidate’s
academic record, performance in the objective written test and the interview to
be conducted by the Institute.
Eligible and interested candidates may send their applications
in the prescribed format along with attested copies of
certificates/testimonials/degrees, in proof of date of birth, educational
qualifications affixing a recent passport size photograph (in the space
provided) to “The Administrative Officer, CSIR-Central Electrochemical
Research Institute, Karaikudi 630 006” on or before 04.12.2012 (Tuesday).
