Eligible candidates are invited to attend a walk-in-Interview with all relevant documents of Sr. Research Fellow (on contractual basis) of Field Assistant (on contractual basis) to work in the project “Food Safety interventions for women in fishery based micro-enterprises in coastal Kerala” funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, New Delhi - 16 at the CIFT, Cochin. The duration of the project is three years.

Senior Research Fellow
Qualification:
MFSc/ Msc in Industrial Fisheries/ MSc Marine Biology/MSc Environmental studies.
(Candidates should possess 1st class or 60% marks or equivalent overall GPA.)
Field Assistant
Qualification:
B.FSc/BSc in Fisheries/ B.Sc microbiology/B.Sc Chemistry
(Candidates should possess 1st class or 60% marks or equivalent overall GPA.)
1.Registration will begin at 8.30 a.m for SRF and 11.30 a.m for Field Asst.
2.Registration will close at 11.30 am for SRF and 2.30 pm for Field Asst.
3.Age limit (as on 7.12.2012) : Below 35 years for men and 40 years for women.
4.Age relaxation of 3 year for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates is permissible.
5.Candidate must be willing to travel widely.
6.Candidates are required to submit attested copies of all the Certificates in support of their claims regarding age, educational qualifications, scheduled caste/scheduled tribe/OBC etc. The original certificates shall be produced for verification before the interview.
7.Candidates should bring detailed bio-data affixing a recent passport size photograph.
8.The selected candidate will be recruited on contract basis under ICAR norms. The post is purely temporary and is co-terminus with the project.
9.The candidates attending the interview should ensure that they fulfil all the eligibility conditions. No correspondence will be entertained from the candidates for selection/test/appointment. Canvassing in any form will render the candidate disqualified for the post.
10.No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
11.Canvassing in any form will render the candidate disqualified for the post.
