The Institute of Microbial Technology (IMTECH) is a constituent R&D establishment of the
Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) Institute wishes to recruit Research Interns (05 Position) under “CSIR Diamond Jubilee Research Interns Award Scheme” to attract young and brilliant candidates to demonstrate their interest in Scientific Research as well as for qualifying and securing other research fellowships as per details given below: -

Essential Qualification: M.Sc. (1st Class) in the area of Environmental Sciences/Life Sciences/
Chemistry/ Bio-Chemistry/ Bio-informatics/ Bio-Physics/ Bio-Technology/ Molecular Biology
/Microbiology/ Computational drug discovery.
Desirable: Medical Technical Training etc.
The engagement for the above position is purely on temporary and contract basis for the period of
duration of the Internship. Intern’s continuation in the scheme shall be reviewed after every six
months and in case the performance is not satisfactory, the Internship can be terminated with one
month’s notice or one month’s salary in lieu thereof without assigning any reasons.
Such of the candidates who fulfills the aforesaid eligibility conditions may please walk in for
interview on Oct.30,2012 ( Tuesday) at 09:30 A.M (Sharp) in the Seminar Hall of this Institute
along with complete bio-data enclosing therewith Xerox copies of certificates/testimonials in
support of date of birth, qualifications etc. and affixed with latest passport photograph on it.
Original certificates are also required to be produced at the time of interview. No TA will be paid for
attending the interview. Number of vacancy may vary.
