Applications are invited for appointment on following project based purely temporary post.

JRF/SRF

Qualification:

1st class Master degree in Physics/ Geophysics/ Earth sciences or relevant subject or 1st class B-Tech. in Civil Engg./ Computer science/ MCA/ relevant branch is essential. Experience/ training of computers particularly in Unix/ Linux environment for geodetic/ GPS data processing is desirable. Preference will be given to NET/ Gate qualified candidates. Desirable : Experience of working in difficult mountain conditions in 
relevant subjects 

Field/ Research Assistant

Qualification:

12th Science background and 2 years field experience in Himalayan terrain. Is preferable

Technical Assistant

Qualification:

Post Graduate in Science Back ground.

Field Assistant

Qualification:

Bachelor degree with 2 years field experience

Research Associate

Qualification:

Ph.D. degree in Botany/Forestry/ Environmental Sciences.

Those who have submitted Ph.D. Thesis but not awarded may also be considered for interview

Junior Research Fellow

Qualification:

Masters degree (55% and above) in Plant Physiology/ Biochemistry/ Environmental Science or in

Botany/Forestry with any of the above specialization (1 no.)

Age Limit: For Research Associate 35 years, Junior/Senior Research/Project Fellow 28/32 years, Field

Assistant 35 years and Technical Assistant 28 years. Relaxation for SC/ST/Women/PH and OBC as per Govt. norms
