University of Agricultural Sciences - Training Asst / Technical Asst / Field Supervisor

Applications are invited in the prescribed form from eligible candidates for filling
up of following Technical-4 Series Posts in the University of Agricultural Sciences,
Bangalore.



I.Training Asst / Technical Asst / Field Supervisor
Qualification:
(a). A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture / Horticulture / Home Science / Agril. Engineering / Veterinary Science / Animal Science / Forestry / Sericulture / Agricultural Marketing and Co-operation / Food Science / Agri. Biotechnologyfrom a recognized Agricultural University with good academic record with a minimum OGPA of 6.50/10.00 or CGPA of 2.25/4.00 or its equivalent or 55% of marks (where grade points are not in vogue). (b). A relaxation of minimum OGPA from 6.50/10.00 to 6.00/10.00 and CGPA of 2.25/4.00 to 2.00/4.00 is provided for SC/ST category (55% to 50% of marks where grade points are not in vogue).

II.Farm Manager
Qualification:
(a). A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture / Horticulture / Forestry / Sericulture / Agril. Marketing and Cooperation from a recognized Agricultural University with a good academic record and a minimum OGPA of 6.50/10.00 or CGPA of 2.25/4.00 or its equivalent or 55% of marks (where grade points are not in vogue). (b). Relaxation of minimum OGPA from 6.50/10.00 to 6.00/10.00 and CGPA of 2.25/4.00 to 2.00/4.00 is provided for SC/ST category (55% to 50% of marks where grade points are not in vogue).

III.Programme Asst (Computer)
Qualification:
A Pass in B.Sc. (Computer Science) / Bachelor in Computer Application OR Any Bachelor degree from a recognized University with one year Diploma in Computer Application. Note: Kannada Knowledge in Computer application is essential

Application Fee: Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC / ST).
Note: A Xerox copy of the Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority should
be produced in support of claim for fee concession under SC/ ST Category.
Number of vacancies notified under this notification is subject to alteration and the
University reserves the right to fill in / not to fill in any or all the vacancies notified.
¨ If eligible candidates belonging to Cat.- I, Cat.II(A), Cat.III(A), Cat.II(B),
Cat.III(B) not available, candidate belonging to General Merit will be considered
as per Govt. Order dated 20-06-1995.
¨ The candidates claiming for Rural Category should enclose the certificate of study
in rural areas (for 10 full academic years from 1st to 10th standards) issued by the
competent authority).

Filled in applications together with allied enclosures should be submitted in an
envelope, superscribing on it, “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF _______________” to THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER, UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES, GKVK, BANGALORE – 560 065 on or before 31-08-2012. The filled in applications must accompany the prescribed fee of Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC / ST) in the form of Demand Draft in favour of the
Comptroller, UAS, Bangalore.
The candidates who have studied under Trimester System and other than 10 point
grading system are required to produce the certificate of equivalent percentage
obtained from the competent authority.
