various Regional Centres / Sub-Centres / Training Centres spread all over India as per details given below :

1. The number of vacancies is provisional and may vary as per there quirement of SAI.
2. The advertisement published earlier in the Employment News of dated 30
July-05 August, 2011 for the post of Coach Grade-III stands cancelled. Candidates who had already applied with reference to the aforementioned advertisement need not apply afresh, as their candidature will be considered as per Terms & Conditions given in the earlier (30 July-07 Aug., 2011) advertisement, except selection procedure which will be as per present advertisement. However, if any applicant wants to withdraw
due to change in recruitment process he/she can do so before the last date fixed for receipt of fresh applications and the fee deposited by such candidates would be refunded.
Qualification:
Essential:
(a) Diploma in coaching from SAI / NS-NIS or from any other recognized Indian / Foreign University.
OR
(b) Participation in Asian Games/World Championship with Certificate Course in Coaching.
OR
(c) Qualification and participation in Olympic Games
Desirable - B.P.Ed.
Age Limit : 30 years as on 15.10.2012
SELECTION PROCESS:
The candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria and falls under the category 3(a)&(b) will be called for a written examination which will be held at Delhi or other place as decided by the Sports Authority of India.
The successful candidates in the written examination will be called to appear for Field Test followed by the interview at the place to be decided / intimated by SAI in the ratio of 1:3.
The selection will be made on the basis of merit list prepared by the Selection
Committee based on the interview and Field Test. To determine the final merit list,
80% weightage will be given to written test and 20% to the Field Test and Interview.
The entire process of written test, field test and interview is likely to be completed by January/February, 2013.
HOW TO APPLY:
Candidates satisfying all the conditions of eligibility shall submit their Application in the format given in the Annexure which shall be either hand-written in bold capitals or typewritten on A-4 size paper only. The copy of the Certificate in proof of age, educational & professional qualification, experience, research, caste and sports participation etc., must be enclosed with the application form. The candidates can also download the application format from the websites of SAI, NIS & MYA&S, i.e., www.sportsauthorityofindia. nic.in, www. nsnis.org & www.yas.nic.in.
Candidates who are working in Central/ State Government/ Autonomous
Organizations should apply through proper channel along with a certificate of
vigilance clearance from the competent authority. However, to avoid delay, an
advance copy of the application form, complete in all respects, along with the
requisite fee, should be submitted by the last date.
