NCERT - Jr Project Fellow/ Computer Typists

The Department of Education in Social Sciences (DESS) is a constituent unit of the NCERT which is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India. It is proposed to fill up the following posts on contractual basis on consolidated monthly salary for a period upto 31.03.2013.



Post:
J.P.F. (Under Adolescence Education Programme )
Qualification:
(a) Second class (with at least 55% marks) Masters degree in any Social Science Subject /Biology / Life Sciences/ Humanities;
(b) Knowledge of research methodology; (c) Proficiency in working on Computer ;

Age Limit:
Not more than 30 years (five year Relaxation for females and SC/ST Candidates)

Computer Typists (Under National Population Education Project)
Qualification:
(a) 12th pass under the 10+2 pattern or equivalent examination from a recognized Central/State Board /Institution.
(b) Diploma in Computer Application.
(c) Proficiency in Computer Software, Development and Management of Database, Website Net working, MIS System and financial statements etc

Age Limit:
18-27 years, Relaxation is permissible upto 5 year for SC/ST, 3 year for OBC, 10 years for Physically challenged persons and 3 years for Ex. Serviceman

The selected candidates will have to assist the Project Coordinator and all the faculty members of the Project. The person selected should be prepared to join immediately.
The interested candidates who fulfil the required eligibility conditions may attend the test/interviews on the date and time mentioned above along with their bio-data, original mark sheets/ certificates/experience etc. Candidates attending test/interviews will not be paid any TA/DA by the NCERT. Those who have already worked in the council as JPF for two years need not apply.
