HBCSE - Project Fellow (MSc)

Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education, (TIFR), Mumbai hereby invites applicants for Walk-in-interview of PROJECT FELLOW for Astronomy Olympiad Cell and NIUS Astronomy at HBCSE.

Qualification & Experience: The candidate should have M. Sc. degree in Physics / Astronomy with at least 55% marks and some additional skill and experience relevant to the job. Experience of working in Linux-based computers is desirable.

Job Description: The candidate should be interested to work in a research-oriented environment in the field of Astronomy. The main task will be
1. Designing and monitoring undergraduate level research projects in Astronomy.
2. Preparing pedagogical material for training of students and teachers in Astronomy at the undergraduate level.

Age : Below 30 years (relaxable up to five years in deserving cases)

Applicants must bring with them the following: 1) Application on plain paper giving full details such as Name, Date of Birth, Full address with phone/mobile number and e-mail address (if any), Educational Qualification, experience, caste, names, phone number and addresses of two referees, details of post applied for and Notice Number. Attach true copies of relevant certificates duly attested. 2) The original certificates for verification. 3) One latest photograph. 4) In the event of the committee finding the candidate suitable, applicants in Govt. / Semi-Government / Public Sector undertakings /Autonomous body must produce No Objection Certificates from their employer.
