Qualification:
01. 1st Class or equivalent GPAZ in B.Tech (Civil Engg.) with competency in computers and computational activities.
Desirable : M.Tech (Structural Engg.)
02. 1st Class or equivalent GPA in BE/B.Tech (Civil)
03. 1st Class M.Sc (Microbiology/ Biotechnology), Specialization- in Bacteriology
04. 1st Class or equivalent GPA in BE (Chemical)/ (Mechanical Engg.) OR 1st Class M.Sc. (Organic/ Physical/Inorganic Chemistry)
05. 1st class or equivalent GPA in B. Arch
06. 1st Class in M.Sc (Inorganic Chemistry)
07. 1st or equivalent GPA in B. Tech (Civil / Instrumentation Engg.)
08. 1st Class M.Sc (Remote Sensing and GIS)/ Geology
09. 1st Class Class or equivalent GPA in B.Tech (Electronics/ Electrical Engg.)
10. 1st Class M.Sc (Organic Chemistry)
11. 1st Class or equivalent or equivalent GPA in BE (Civil/ Mechanical/ Chemical/ Electrical Engg.)
12. 1st Class M.Sc (Mass Communication / Science Journalism/ Science Writing) or 1st Class or equivalent GPA in B.Tech. (Computer Science/ Information Technology)/ MCA with DTP knowledge
Desirable : Flair for Science Writing/ Communication

Age Limit : 25 yrs

Tenure : Maximum two years, not extendable under any circumstances and subject to satisfactory performance to be evaluated every 6 months. The interns shall have no claim for further extension, absorption or regularization in CISR after expiry/ termination of the internship.

Mode of Selection : Written Test/Interview

The applications must be submitted in the prescribed application form. Application Form duly filled in (Neatly typed/ hand written) and complete in all respects, accompanied by attested photograph and attested copies of the mark sheets/ certificates/ testimonials etc. in support of date/of birth/ age, qualifications, experience and certificate in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH as mentioned in the applications should be submitted to The Director, Central Building Research Institute (CBRI), Roorkee-247 667, by mentioning the Advt. No and the subject of Intern on the envelop so as to reach on or before 18.09.2012.
