Physical Research Laboratory, vide Advt No. 04/2012 dated 14/06/2012 had announced induction of Trainee (Assistant) – 4 Position, to work in Scientific Areas (purely temporary for Training for initially one year likely to be permanently absorbed as Assistant as per the procedure defined in details in Advt No. 04/2012)

Qualification :
B.A./B.Com. /B.B.A/B.B. M./ B.Sc./ B.C.A. with First Class as declared by the University. With Knowledge in use of Computers

Age Limit : 26 Years as on 31/05/2012

Selection Process :
The qualification prescribed is the minimum requirement and possession of the same does not automatically make candidate eligible for further evaluation.

The SC Position now is being filled by 1 post of Assistant in PB 1
20200 with corresponding Grade. This is earmarked
exclusively for SC Candidates only. A notification vide our Advertisement No.
06/2012 is being issued separately. Application of SC Candidates, who have applied
in response to Advt. 04/2012 for Trainee (Assistant), will be considered for
Assistant position and they need not to apply again. Their online Application will
also be considered for Trainee (Assistant) positions, on merit without any relaxed
norms for selection i.e. on par with UR Category.
Accordingly due to above changes, the link for submitting online application by
additional candidates who have not submitted their application in response to Advt
No. 04/2012 is operative & candidates, may submit their application on-line at
www.prl.res.in (��Opportunities��Job vacancies) between 13/07/12 and 28/07/12.

How to apply:
• Applications will be received on-line only. The Candidates should register their application on-line at www.prl.res.in (��Opportunities��Job vacancies) between 14/06/2012 and 04/07/2012.
• Upon registration, applicant will be provided with an on-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference.
• Email id of the applicant will have to be given in the application compulsorily.
• The on-line application has to be invariably followed-up with a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the employer concerned, by those already in employment under Central/State Government, Public Sector Undertakings, Autonomous Bodies or any Organisation which is aided by Government, duly indicating the name and registration number on the reverse. The ‘No Objection Certificate’ duly indicating the name and Registration Number on the reverse should be sent to PRL.
• Candidature of Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC) and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) is subject to furnishing of a certificate indicated against each category, as below:-
• SC/ST/OBC Candidates: Attested copy of Caste certificate in the prescribed proforma for Central Govt. Jobs, issued by appropriate Authority.
• PWD Candidates: Attested copy of PWD certificate (40% and above disability) in the
prescribed proforma issued by appropriate Authority/Medical Board.
