Essential Qualification:
B.A./B.Com. /B.B.A/B.B. M./ B.Sc./ B.C.A. with First Class as declared
by the University. With Knowledge in use of Computers

Age Limit:
31 Years as on 30/06/2012 (includes 5 years age relaxation). Other relaxation as per GOI Norms. 30/06/2012 will be considered as cut-off date for all other purposes including qualification etc.

Job Requirement : Candidate will be liable to handle duties and responsibilities in
Administrative Area/s and any other jobs as assigned from time to time.

How to apply:
• Applications will be received on-line only. The Candidates should register their application on-line at www.prl.res.in (��Opportunities��Job vacancies) between 17/07/12 and 06/08/12.
• Upon registration, applicant will be provided with an on-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference.
• Email id of the applicant will have to be given in the application compulsorily.
• The on-line application has to be invariably followed-up with a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the employer concerned, by those already in employment under Central/State Government, Public Sector Undertakings, Autonomous Bodies or any Organisation which is aided by Government, duly indicating the name and registration number on the reverse. The ‘No Objection Certificate’ duly indicating the name and Registration Number on the reverse should be sent to PRL.
• After filling the application, online, SC Candidates have to send attested copy of Caste certificate in the prescribed proforma for Central Govt. Jobs, issued by appropriate Authority to “The In-charge (Administration), Room No.7, Physical Research Laborator ty, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad-380 009”, within seven days from the closing date for submission of online application i.e. 13/08/12.

Selection Process:
• There will be an initial screening based on the on-line application. The criteria for screening will include factors such as percentage/class in Degree/Diploma, etc. vis-a-vis number of total applications or any other criteria as decided by the Director, PRL.
• There will be written test of screened-in candidates as per the recruitment norms of PRL/DOS. Written exam will comprise of Part A - MCQ of General English, General Studies, Arithmetic, General Knowledge and Computer Literacy and Part - B Descriptive questions covering précis writing, Comprehension, report writing, letter writing, essay writing. Evaluation of Part B of only those candidates will be done who secure 50% Marks or any higher cut off decided by PRL in Part A. Thus qualified candidates will be called for personal interview at PRL.
