Qualification:
Passed the Common Written Examination [CWE] for Clerks 2011-12 conducted by IBPS, Mumbai and holding a valid IBPS Score Card of the said CWE. Should have obtained a minimum score or above in each subject and also in the Total Weighted Standard Score as stipulated in the Table-A & B above for the State / Union Territory, for which candidate is applying;
AND
A pass with 60% marks in the aggregate in Matriculation / SSC (old pattern) / SSLC/ 10th Std. Examination of 10+2+3 pattern or equivalent. For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EXSM candidates a pass in the aggregate in Matriculation / SSC (old pattern) / SSLC / 10th Std. Examination of 10+2+3 pattern or equivalent.
OR
A pass with 50% marks in HSC examination of 10+2 (10+2+3) pattern / 11th Std. of (11+1+3) pattern or Intermediate / Pre-University or any equivalent examination / Diploma in Banking recognized by Central / State Government or U.T. administration. For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EXSM candidates a pass in HSC examination of 10+2 (10+2+3 pattern) / 11th Std. of (11+1+3) pattern or Intermediate / Pre-University or any equivalent examination / diploma in Banking recognized by Central / State Government or U.T. administration.
OR
Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
AND
Candidate should have proficiency in Official Language of the State / UT for which he / she is applying.
Educational qualification prescribed above is minimum and should have been acquired on or before 01.08.2011. Candidate should indicate the percentage obtained calculated to the nearest two decimals in the online application. Where CGPA / OGPA is awarded, the same should be converted in to percentage and indicate the same in online application, besides indicating the CGPA / OGPA in the on-line application. SELECTION PROCEDURE:
The selection for the post of Probationary Clerks for each State / Union Territory is on the basis of Score obtained in stipulated CWE for Clerks + Group Discussion + Interview. Proficiency [i.e. read, write & speak] in Official Language of the State / UT for which the candidate has applied, will be tested during GD and marks will be awarded for the same.
The GD and Interview will be held at the identified centres. The list of centres will be made available in the on-line application.
Depending upon the number of vacancies in each State / Union Territory, the Bank reserves the right to shortlist requisite number of candidates based on the CWE score, academics of the candidates, as decided by the Bank and only those shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Interview.
