JNPT - Manager / Dy Manager / Assistant Manager

JNPT invites applications for the following Class I officer posts :



(1) MANAGER (MARINE ENGINEERING) :
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE :
Essential :
(i) MOT I Class Motor Certificate issued under Merchant Shipping Act. 1958.
(ii) 4 years experience as Chief Engineer or 5 years combined experience as Chief Engineer and 2nd Engineer on board a foreign going ship.
For deputation officer holding analogous post or Officer holding the post of Marine Engineer and its equivalents Marine Engg. side in the scale of pay of Rs. 29100-54500 with 4 years regular service in the grade in Govt./PSUs/Autonomous bodies will be eligible.

AGE LIMIT : 44 years.

(3) DEPUTY MANAGER (MARKETING) :
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE :
Essential:
(i) Post graduate Degree in Public Relations or Marketing Management.
(ii) 9 years post qualification executive experience in a large service organisation in Public Relations, publicity and promotion.
(iii) Working knowledge of Hindi and Marathi.

Desirable :
Exposure to computerised office environment.

AGE LIMIT : 40 years.

(4) ASSISTANT MANAGER (MARKETING) :
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE :
Essential:
(iv) Post graduate Degree in Public Relations or Marketing Management.
(v) 5 years post qualification executive experience in a large service organisation in Public Relations, publicity and promotion.

(vi) Working knowledge of Hindi and Marathi.
Desirable :
Exposure to computerised office working environment.

AGE LIMIT : 35 years.

(5) ASSISTANT MANAGER (MANAGEMENT SERVICES) :
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE :
Essential :
(i) Degree in Computer Engineering / Computer Science from a recognised
university/institution, OR Degree in Maths/Statistics/Operational Research/Economics
with Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application/Computer Science/Information
Technology from a recognised university/institution OR Degree in Engineering with
Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application/Computer Science/Information
Technology from a recognised university/institution.
(ii) 5 years experience in Programming/Electronics Data Processing/System Design &
Analysis and related fields.

Desirable :
(i) Post Graduate Degree in Maths/Statistics/Operational Research/Economics OR Post
Graduate Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Systems or
Information Systems or MIS or Information Technology or Computer Applications or
Business Adm. (PG degree/diploma)with specialisation in Systems or Information
Systems or MIS or Information Technology and allied subjects from a recognised
university/institution.

AGE LIMIT : 35 years.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:
Eligible candidates short-listed based on the initial screening only shall be called for written test and/or interview. Date, time and venue of the written test/interview shall be intimated to the short-listed /eligible candidates.
Candidates short-listed for written test/interview are required to bring the certificates/documents (original and attested photocopies) in proof of age, qualification, experience, training, caste, exservicemen discharge book(as applicable), etc. and one passport size photograph at the time of interview, failing which their candidature shall be rejected.

➢ Before applying, the candidate should ensure that he fulfills the eligibility and other norms mentioned in this advertisement. JNPT may scrutinize the eligibility of the candidates and the documents produced by the candidates at various stages like conduct of examination, interview, selection, etc., and the decision of JNPT regarding eligibility of the candidates will be final and binding on the candidates. No correspondence or personal inquiries will be entertained by JNPT in this behalf.
➢ In case it is detected at any stage of recruitment that a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility norms and/or that he has furnished any incorrect/false information/certificate/documents or has suppressed any material fact(s), his/her candidature will stand cancelled. If any of these shortcoming/s is/are detected even after appointment, his/her services are liable to be terminated.
➢ JNPT reserves the right to cancel the advertisement and or the selection process at any stage without assigning any reason.
➢ Applicant serving in Government/Public Sector, Semi Government Organisation should
produce “No Objection Certificate(NOC)” at the time of interview, as applicable.
➢ Canvassing in any form or bringing outside influence will be a disqualification.
➢ Appointment of selected candidate is subject to verification of caste, character and antecedents from the concerned authorities as per the rule and vigilance clearance(as applicable).
➢ Candidates who have work experience in the private sector should submit the experience certificate in the letter head of the company, in support thereof.
