Umea University, invites application for Postdoctoral Stipend in Optical Frequency Comb Spectroscopy
The successful candidate should hold a PhD degree in experimental physics (or equivalent) preferably obtained less than three years ago. The candidate should also have experience in fields of laser spectroscopy, optics, electronics, vacuum systems, and/or gas analysis. A strong interest in instrumental development will be seen as an advantage. The applicant should be highly motivated and have the ability to work independently as well as a part of the research group. The candidate should be fluent in both verbal and written English.
The application should include a motivation letter describing previous research experience, a CV with a list of publications, copies of relevant exam certificates and publications, and two recommendation letters from academic referees. Documents should either be sent in hard-copy form (2 copies), or electronically in MS Word or PDF format, to the address below.
