VIJAYA BANK, a leading listed public sector bank, having Head Office in Bangalore, with all India representation, invites applications from eligible sportsmen for recruitment for the post of Clerk.

CLERK

Educational Qualification :
Pass in XII Standard examination or equivalent from a recognized University/ Board/Central/State/UT administration Or Degree in any discipline or its equivalent. Applicants should attach attested certificates / marks cards evidencing their educational qualification.

Sports Qualification :
Should have represented the State in National event, or the District in State Level event with distinction, or the university in an Inter-university event with Distinction or if he was a member of the Combined universities Team. (Preference will be given to current State players).

Game Preferred Specification
Cricket : All rounder/ Batsman / Medium Pace Bowler/Spinner
Basket Ball : All rounder / Ball Handler / Point Guard/Centre/Forward
Kabaddi : Left Cover / All rounder / Left Corner/Right Corner/ Right Cover

Minimum Age as on : 18 years

HOW TO APPLY:
a) Application should be neatly typed or hand-written in English or Hindi on a foolscap size paper in the format given at the end of this advertisement.
b) A recent passport size photograph bearing full signature of the candidate across the same with date should be pasted at the right hand top corner at the space provided in the application.
c) Each application must be accompanied by (i) Bank Draft/Pay Order/Banker’s Cheque payable at Bangalore (ii) Copies of under mentioned certificates (only attested true copies of certificates) should be sent by candidates along with the application :
A. Secondary School Certificate/School Leaving Certificate or any other documentary proof of age.
B. Marks Sheets (year-wise) showing specifically the subject studied and certificate/s in support of educational qualifications commencing from X Standard.
C. Certificates awarded by the following authorities to evidence credentials in respective game concerned :
d) Selected candidates will be required to produce a valid discharge certificate from the present employer before joining the services of the Bank.
