Indian Air Force - AFCAT(Men,Women)

Applications are invited from Male Or Female Indian Citizens as per Citizenship Act 1955 for the following courses commencing in January 2013/July 2013for grant of Short service Commission in Flying Branch and Permanent Short service Commission in Technical and Ground Duty Branches.



For Men:

1)Flying Branch:
Qualification :
Graduates (Three Yrs degree course in any discipline from a recognized University who have attained minimum 60 % marks in aggregate in all papers put together and have Maths and Physics at 10+2 level or BE/B.Tech degree Four year course from a recognized University with minimum 60 % marks in aggregate in all papers put together.
Age Limit :19 to 23 years as on January 2013.born Between 02 January 1990 to 10 January 1994 (Both Dates inclusive) (Upper age Candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licences issued by DGCA (India)is relaxable upto 25 years born between 02July 1987 to 01 July 1993 (Both dates inclusive).

2)Technical Branch:
i)Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics )(AE(L):
Canidate applying for AE (L) branch would be eligible if they have undergone a minimum of four year degree qualification from a recognised university or cleared section A and B examination of Assoicate Membership of institution of Engineers or Aeronautical Society of India or Graduate memebership examination of the institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers by actual studies
ii)Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical )(AE(M):
Canidate applying for AE (M) branch would be eligible if they have undergone a minimum of four year degree qualification from a recognised university or cleared section A and B examination of Assoicate Membership of institution of Engineers or Aeronautical Society of India by actual studies

UES-2013Entry i)Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics )(AE(L):
Canidate applying for AE (L) branch would be eligible if they are presently in their Pre-final year of four year BE/B.Tech degree qualification from a recognised university
UES-2013Entry ii)Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical )(AE(M):
anidate applying for AE (M) branch would be eligible if they are presently in their Pre-final year of four year BE/B.Tech degree qualification from a recognised university

3)Ground Duty Branches:
Administration & Logistics :
Graduates Digree in any discipline with minimum of 60 % marks in aggregate of all papers put together or a Post Graduate Degree /Equivalent Diploma in any discipline with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together
Accounts :
Graduates Digree in commerce with minimum of 60 % marks in aggregate of all papers put together or a Post Graduate Degree in Commerce (M.Com/CA/ICWA with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together
Education :
Post Graduate Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50 % marks in aggregated of all papers put together

For Women:

1)Flying Branch:
