1.Management Trainee:
Essential
qualification
and experience.
(A)Age: should not be less than 21 years of age and more than 30 years.
(ii) Candidate should possess a Degree in graduation in any faculty, with MBA HR/Marketing/Finance/Infrastructure/Systems/Port & Shipping/CA/ICWA/ ACS/ M. Tech (in infrastructure of planning) in any field having secured First Class. Preference will be given to candidate having a Post Graduation degree in Ports & Shipping Management.
(iii) Mode of selection shall be by the way of campus recruitment or
by wider circulation through print or electronic means. (B) A Candidate appointed by direct selection will be kept on probation for a period of two years. On successful completion, they would be confirmed as Manager in the same pay and grade pay.
(C) A selected candidate will be required to pass the departmental
examination and an examination in Hindi or Gujarati or both in
accordance with the rules prescribed by Board/ Govt. from time to
time. Computer knowledge also prescribed by the
Board/Government from time to time is essential for any candidate.
(D) A candidate appointed by direct selection shall have to undergo such
training as may be prescribed by the GMB from time to time.
(E) A selected candidate will be required to furnish a security and surety
Bond for such amount and for such period as may be prescribed by Gujarat Maritime Board.
(F) A selected candidate will be entitled to get Rs. 25,000/- p.m. fix
salary for a period of two years.
(G) Age may be relaxation as per Govt. rules.
2.Graduate Engineer Trainee :
Essential
qualification
and experience.
(A)Age: Should not be less than 21 years of age and more than 30 years.
(ii) Candidate should possess a First class Degree in any branch of
Engineering.
Preference will be given to candidate having a post Graduation
/Diploma in Ports & Shipping Management.
(iii) The mode of Selection shall be by the way of campus recruitment
or by wider circulation through print or electronic means.
(B) A Candidate appointed by direct selection will be kept on probation
for a period of one year. Upon successful completion, they would be
absorbed as Asst. Engineer.
(C) A selected candidate will be required to pass the departmental
examination and an examination in Hindi or Gujarati or both in
accordance with the rules prescribed by Board/ Govt. from time to
time. Computer knowledge also prescribed by the
Board/Government from time to time is essential for any candidate.
(D) A candidate appointed by direct selection shall have to undergo such
training as may be prescribed by the GMB from time to time.
(E) A selected candidate will be required to furnish a security and surety
Bond for such amount and for such period as may be prescribed by
Gujarat Maritime Board.
(F)A selected candidate will be entitled to get Rs. 18,000/- p.m. fix
salary for a period of one year.
(G) Age may be relaxation as per Govt. rules.
