Directorate of School Education - Special Educators/ Resource Teachers

Applications are invited through registered post for 435 posts of Special Educators/ Resource Teachers across the State on contract basis on the prescribed application form, the format of which is given at the end. The candidates are advised to strictly use this format of the application form only otherwise their applications will be rejected. The format given at the end should be photocopied (enlarged) on a thick paper.




Post:
1.Special Educator( Mentally Challenged)
2.Special Educator (Visually Challenged)
3.Special Educator (Hearing Impaired)

Qualifications:-
•Graduate with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education) or B.Ed. (General) with 2 years Diploma in Special Education or equivalent from a recognized University/institution.
OR
•Post Graduate in relevant subject with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education) or B.Ed. (General) with 2 years Diploma in Special Education or equivalent from a recognized University/Institution.
OR
•Post Graduate in relevant subject with at least 50% marks and diploma in special Education or equivalent from a recognized University/ Institution.
•Hindi/ Sanskrit upto Matric standard.
•All qualifications in special education should be recognized from RCI(Rehabilitation
council of India) institutions.

Age Limit: - 17- 40 years.

Desirable Qualifications:-
•Teacher with qualifications in single disability area will be encouraged to specialize in other disability areas to take care of wide range of diversities in a general school.
•Knowledge of computer.

DOCUMENTS TO BE ATTACHED WITH THE APPLICATION FORM:
i)One copy of duly attested latest passport size photograph should be pasted on the application form.
ii) Attested photocopy of essential qualifications and above /diploma/degree DMC should be attached with the application form.
