Research Fellow


(initially for two years extendable for another year) for the project entitled “Studies on Characterization of content and composition of the aromatic oil and
microstructure of the seed spices grown in different districts of West Bengal” sanctioned by Dept. of Science & Technology, Govt. of West Bengal, vide sanction letter No.416 (Sanc.)/ST/P/S&T/2G-5/2011; dated September 09, 2011, under the supervision of Dr.(Ms.) Mahua Ghosh, Department of Chemical Technology, University of Calcutta


Essential Qualification: B.Tech. in Oil Technology / M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry /
Botany/ Environmental Sc. / Atmospheric science or equivalent degree.

Desirable Qualification: For M.Sc. students, NET/SET/GATE score or research
experience in the field of Oil technology with sufficient knowledge in GC, GC-MS,
SEM, AFM, etc.

Upper age limit is 30 years and the emolument is Rs.12,000/- p.m. + admissible
allowances.
Candidates are requested to bring two sets of complete applications furnishing Bio-data on plain paper attached with attested copy of testimonials along with all the originals of the testimonials at the time of interview.
