Applications from interested candidates are invited for filling up the post of a JRF in the DST, Govt. of India – sponsored research project titled “Interpretation of multiple deformations in the Eastern Himalaya: A kinematic correlation with orogenic movements” under the supervision of Santanu Bose, Dept. of Geology, University of Calcutta. At present the project is of 2-yrs 8 months duration.
Essenial Qualification: The candidate should have M.Sc (Geology/Applied Geology) degree with 1st class and experience of doing structural researches.
Interested candidates should come for walk-in interview to be held at the Dept. of Geology, University of Calcutta on 19/09/2011, 4-30pm. Candidates should bring with them their CV and research publication (if any).
